Geology Intern

• We are hiring a Geology Intern to work on real, high-impact problems within the Geology team. You will contribute directly to mineral exploration, deposit development and mine production geology working closely with engineers and domain experts.
• This role is designed to provide hands-on experience building and shipping solutions, not just supporting tasks.
• Work on exploration and development of a new copper deposit defining ore characteristics related to depositional environment and mineralization model
• Create geologic logs of core and RC cutting from exploration drilling
• Assign lithofacies designations to drilling intervals
• Deliver drilling samples to lab for analysis
• Correlate copper and multi-element assays to lithofacies and investigate differences by lithofacies
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members including geologists, lab technicians and drilling crews
• Present outcomes and learnings at the end of the internship

• Currently pursuing a degree in Geology
• Strong fundamentals in geologic knowledge, data recording, organization and analysis
• Hands-on experience through sedimentary geology courseworkAbility to break down problems and execute independently
