Steven Simoni

About

Steven Simoni is the president and co-founder of Allen Control Systems, the defense robotics company building the Bullfrog autonomous counter-drone gun. A former U.S. Navy nuclear engineer, he served as an instrumentation and control systems engineer for Navy nuclear reactors before transitioning to startups. He previously co-founded and served as CEO of Bbot, a robotics restaurant technology company that was acquired by DoorDash in 2022. Simoni holds an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State, and started ACS to bring naval-grade controls discipline to small-arms drone defense.
