Rylan Hamilton is co-founder and CEO of Blue Water Autonomy, where he leads strategy, fundraising, and product vision for the company's autonomous warship program. He began his career as a US Navy engineering and surface warfare officer before joining Kiva Systems, which became Amazon Robotics, where he was an early leader deploying thousands of industrial robots into warehouses worldwide. He went on to co-found 6 River Systems, a warehouse automation company that commercialized one of the first collaborative autonomous mobile robots for logistics; he raised $45M in venture funding and sold the company to Shopify for $450M. Rylan holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and brings two decades of experience at the intersection of defense, robotics, and venture-backed entrepreneurship to scaling unmanned ships for the US Navy.
