About
Qasar Younis co-founded Applied Intuition in 2017 to give the world's automakers and defense primes the simulation and autonomy stack that Silicon Valley had kept proprietary. Before Applied, he was Chief Operating Officer of Y Combinator under Sam Altman, and earlier sold his startup TalkBin to Google, where he led product on Google Maps. He started his career as an automotive engineer at General Motors and Robert Bosch, working on chassis systems and powertrain controls. That hybrid Detroit-and-Valley pedigree is the founding insight behind Applied Intuition: physical AI for industrial machines requires people who have actually built the cars, trucks, and weapons themselves.
