Melanie Stricklan is co-founder and CEO of Slingshot Aerospace, the El Segundo company providing space situational awareness, simulation, and analytics to commercial, civil, and defense customers tracking and operating in an increasingly contested orbital environment. She served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, logging more than 1,500 flight hours on ground-surveillance aircraft, commanding experimental spacecraft missions, and leading development of space control technologies for the Department of Defense. She co-founded Slingshot in 2017 with David Godwin and Thomas Ashman; Via Satellite named her Satellite Executive of the Year, and Inc. named her one of the Top 100 Female Founders in the U.S.
