Matt Loszak is the CEO and co-founder of Aalo Atomics, the Austin-based microreactor startup designing factory-built 10 MWe sodium-cooled reactors aimed squarely at the data center buildout. A serial entrepreneur and one-time acoustical engineer, Loszak previously co-founded the Toronto HR platform Humi before chasing what he calls the dawn of a Second Atomic Age. He raised seed capital from Fifty Years and now leads a team of more than 45 engineers pursuing parallel DOE and NRC pathways, with a target electricity cost of three cents per kilowatt-hour. The company is racing to break ground on its first commercial plant within twelve months and go critical the year after.
