About
Karan Kunjur is co-founder and CEO of K2 Space, the Los Angeles company building Mega-class satellite buses sized for the Starship era — bus platforms with the power, payload, and aperture of geostationary exquisite satellites at the price and cadence of smallsats. He spent a decade at Boston Consulting Group leading turnarounds and acquisitions before becoming Vice President at AI startup Text IQ through its 2021 acquisition by Relativity. He founded K2 with his brother Neel, betting that large rockets like SpaceX's Starship will fundamentally invert the economics of space, making big satellites the right answer rather than constellations of small ones. K2 raised a $250M Series C at a $3B valuation in 2025.
