About
Joshua Steinman is co-founder and CEO of Galvanick, a Los Angeles industrial cybersecurity company building an XDR platform purpose-built for OT — the programmable logic controllers, SCADA systems, and DCS networks that run American factories, refineries, and power plants. He served as Senior Director for Cyber on the National Security Council from 2017 to 2021, where he was the principal author of the National Cyber Strategy and led the U.S. response to multiple state-sponsored intrusions on critical infrastructure. Before the White House he was a Naval officer and an early hand at OneWeb. Galvanick raised a $10M seed in 2024 from Founders Fund, MaC Venture Capital, Village Global, and Countdown Capital, and has expanded with a Seattle office focused on grid and water-utility customers.
