David Zagaynov is co-founder and CEO of Poseidon Aerospace, the San Francisco company building unmanned, runway-independent cargo seaplanes — the Egret and Heron — for stealth logistics in contested maritime environments. He was previously an engineer at Amazon working on autonomous logistics. Poseidon raised an $11M seed in late 2025 led by Tamarack Global with participation from Draper Associates and Starship Ventures, and is preparing the Seagull cargo drone for U.S. Navy testing. The company maintains a manufacturing facility in Brunswick, Maine alongside its San Francisco HQ and DC office.
