Brian Schimpf

About

Brian Schimpf is co-founder and CEO of Anduril Industries, where he runs strategy, product, and the engineering organization. At Cornell he founded and led the university's autonomous vehicle program, fielding entries in the DARPA Grand Challenge and Urban Challenge alongside fellow Anduril co-founder Matt Grimm. He joined Palantir Technologies as an early engineer in 2007, eventually rising to Director of Engineering and shipping the Foundry data platform now deployed across U.S. defense and intelligence. Schimpf became Anduril's fifth co-founder when Palmer Luckey and Trae Stephens recruited him in 2017 to be the operator-builder behind the company's hardware-software stack.
