Andrew Kirk founded Macrodyne Technologies in 1989 in Concord, Ontario after years working in the hydraulic press industry, with a vision of designing and manufacturing custom hydraulic and servo presses for high-end industrial customers. Macrodyne now builds the heavy-tonnage presses used to stamp electric vehicle battery enclosures, structural automotive parts, aerospace components, and large-scale forming work. The company is privately held and has expanded its U.S. press services footprint over the last decade.
