Alex Tseng is co-founder and CEO of Ares Industries, where he leads the engineering effort to build a new class of cheap, mass-producible anti-ship cruise missiles. He was the first engineering hire at a previous missile startup and has prior experience building autonomous systems at Rivian and at Stanford, plus turbojet work at California State University, Long Beach. Tseng studied at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and started Ares with Devan Plantamura on the thesis that the U.S. needs a SpaceX-style production playbook for missiles ahead of any extended Pacific conflict.
