About
Abraham Bachrach co-founded Skydio in 2014 with Adam Bry and Matt Donahoe and serves as CTO, leading the autonomy stack that lets Skydio drones perceive, map, and navigate without GPS. He completed his PhD at MIT under Professor Nicholas Roy on 'Trajectory Bundle Estimation for Perception-Driven Planning,' research that became the foundation of the original Skydio R1's software. After MIT he worked alongside Bry at Google's Project Wing on autonomous delivery drones before they spun out Skydio. Bachrach's engineering leadership has carried the company from consumer drones into defense, public safety, and infrastructure inspection, with the X10 platform now in service across the US Army and allied militaries.
