Vight is an early-stage Silicon Valley aviation startup designing, building, and flying two-seat eVTOL aircraft aimed at personal use — initially targeting rural property owners and flight schools — founded by engineers with experience from Airbus Vahana and Kitty Hawk.
The thesis
Most eVTOL companies are chasing urban air taxi networks with capital-intensive certification paths. Vight is taking a smaller, faster, owner-flown angle that could open distributed personal aviation in the same way Cessna did for general aviation.
