The product

Planet operates the world's largest commercial Earth observation fleet, including the Dove (medium-res, daily global), SuperDove, and SkySat (sub-meter tasking) constellations, plus the upcoming Pelican and Tanager hyperspectral satellites. The data feeds defense, agriculture, energy, and government analytics customers via a software platform.

Domestic satellite manufacturing at high cadence is core reindustrialization infrastructure. Planet builds spacecraft in San Francisco and serves US defense and intelligence as Russian/Chinese imagery becomes a national security concern.
