The product

Northwood is building a network of mass-produced ground stations — the antennas that connect satellites to Earth — designed for fast manufacturing, deployment, and reconfiguration. Already demonstrated downlink with Planet Labs in operational test.

Why it matters

The thesis

The satellite-launch boom (SpaceX, Anduril Space, Planet, Capella, every defense smallsat) is creating a downlink chokepoint — there aren't enough ground stations and the existing ones (KSAT, AWS Ground Station) are slow to expand. Northwood is the on-ramp at scale.
