The American Housing Corporation
Vertically integrated factory-built starter homes
The product
The American Housing Corporation is a vertically integrated real-estate developer and housing manufacturer. It runs an Austin factory that produces every major home component — using custom machines and tools — designed around a proprietary kit-of-parts. Components flat-pack into intermodal shipping containers and assemble on-site in days.
The thesis
America has both a housing crisis and a manufacturing-capability gap; AHC fuses the two by reframing the starter home as an industrial product. Initial focus on urban townhouses tackles the missing middle directly — and a 2025 factory opening means real production, not slideware.
