The role
What you'll do
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor to internal stakeholders across business, operations, and compliance functions
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including commercial and government contracts
- Partner with business development teams on RFPs, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence, transaction structuring, and integration efforts
- Advise on regulatory, compliance, and governance matters relevant to Exiger’s operations
- Enhance and scale legal processes, templates, and contract lifecycle management practices
- Support intellectual property strategy and protection efforts
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Company’s compliance framework
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a U.S. State Bar
- 7+ years of legal experience, with a mix of law firm and in-house experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial and government contracts
- Familiarity with compliance programs and regulatory frameworks
- Experience supporting corporate transactions, including M&A and investments
- Working knowledge of corporate governance and entity management (e.g., resolutions, minute books)

- Deep understanding of government contracting, including the FAR and related frameworks
- Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions and managing due diligence processes

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical guidance
